Ulrich Graute

As an independent UN and EU expert, Ulrich Graute (www.ugraute.de) works in the fields of Urban, Metropolitan and Regional Development and Cooperation, Public Administration and Development Management and International Governance (UN/EU).

In 2017 Graute joined the Regional and Metropolitan Planning Unit at the Headquarters of UN-Habitat in Nairobi, Kenya. He also worked as programme manager for the European Union and as Interregional Adviser of Socio-economic Governance at the Secretariat of the United Nations in New York. Graute established his own consultancy in 2014 with clients and partners including the City of Berlin, Cities Alliance and GIZ.
